Qatar Airways Now Has Up To 4 Daily Flights To Manchester Airport

While Qatar Airways previously had a high of 3 daily flights from Doha to Manchester, its frequency has risen to a record 24 weekly (3 to 4 daily). This occurred in June 2025 and will be maintained from now on, including during the winter.
This increase may partly explain why Emirates has filed plans to increase Dubai to Manchester flights to 4 daily in the coming winter, although this does not mean they will materialise. Many airlines gain slots, only to not use them and hand them back.

The Airline Filled 94% Of Manchester Seats Last Year

In 2024, the UK Civil Aviation Authority indicates that Qatar Airways carried 689,000 two-way Manchester passengers. It filled 94% of its available seats. Naturally, the vast majority of passengers transited to another Qatar Airways flight in Doha. An estimated 590,000 passengers did so, for an 86% share of the total.
Directly influenced by Pakistan International Airlines’ continued ban from the UK, Pakistan was the leading country market. India was next, followed by Thailand, Australia and Saudi Arabia. The five most popular segments to/from Manchester were Islamabad, Phuket, Bangkok, Kochi and Lahore.
