Air China’s Boeing 747 Replaces Boeing 777 On 1-Off London Heathrow Service
On 8 June, an Air China Boeing 747-8i was flown to London Heathrow on one of the carrier’s two daily flights from Beijing Capital to the UK’s busiest airport. Due to Chinese dignitaries, it replaced the 777-300ER that is ordinarily used. The airline last regularly flew the jumbo to Heathrow 17 years ago.
